Bob Rumley started Rumley & Associates as a sole practitioner
in 1985. Aaron Rumley joined as a partner in 2003 after returning
from the United States. In 2005, Rob Chaggares partnered with Bob
and Aaron to create Rumley & Chaggares, Chartered Accountants,
Professional Corporation.
Rob Chaggares, CA, CFP
After graduating with Distinction from the University of Toronto's B. Comm program specializing in accounting and economics, Rob began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLP Small Business Solution Centre in North Toronto where he successfully passed his exams and earned his designation as a Chartered Accountant. He has since been certified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in order to offer a broader range of services and advice to his clients. Rob regularly advises his clients on a myriad of issues including: corporate and personal tax planning, corporate governance, cash flow management, human resources, business operations, financial reporting and more.
Aside from managing the Newmarket office for Rumley & Chaggares, Rob is actively involved in a volunteer leadership role at his local Church and is also serving as the Treasurer for both the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce and the Smart Commute Central York organizations on their Executive Committees of their Board of Directors. Rob is married to Jennifer with whom he is raising their three young children in Newmarket.
Aaron Rumley, CA, CFE, CPA (US)
Aaron received a B.A. and a Master's degree in Accounting from the top ranked accounting school in the western United States. In addition to Aaron's designation as a Chartered Accountant, he is also licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Aaron started his career with KPMG, LLP where he provided financial accounting and taxation services to international and local companies. After leaving KPMG, he worked in various management positions in several publicly traded U.S. corporations.

Pierre Bonhomme, CA
Pierre graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2001 with a
Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences. He then proceeded to obtain a
Certificate of Accounting from the University of Ottawa in 2005. He
began his accounting career with Ross, Pope & Company LLP in
Timmins, Ontario where he successfully passed his exams and obtained
his designation as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. Pierre joined
Rumley & Chaggares, Chartered Accountants in 2008. He has extensive
experience with profit oriented companies, personal taxation,
not-for-profit organizations, First Nations organizations and
municipalities.
Pierre serves annually on the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament organizing committee. He is also an active member of The Professional Referrals Organization and has served as Treasurer for various organizations. Pierre was recently married and he and his wife reside in Newmarket.
